2. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will be processed on the following business day.
  • Peak Seasons: During high-volume periods (such as Black Friday, Christmas, or promotional sales), processing times may be extended by an additional 1 to 2 business days. We appreciate your patience during these times.

3. Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We ship to all addresses across the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We offer the following domestic shipping methods:

  • Standard Shipping: Delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Free for orders over £50. For orders under £50, a flat rate of £3.99 applies.
  • Express Shipping: Delivered within 1 to 2 business days. Available for a flat rate of £6.99.

Please note that deliveries to remote areas, including the Scottish Highlands and UK Islands, may take an additional 1 to 2 business days to arrive.

4. International Shipping

We are pleased to offer international shipping to select destinations, including Europe, North America, and Australia.

  • Shipping Rates: International shipping rates vary based on weight, dimensions, and destination country. Exact costs will be calculated dynamically at checkout.
  • Delivery Estimates: International deliveries generally take 7 to 14 business days, depending on the destination and local customs clearance procedures.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For international orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, Cotswold Kitchen Supplies Ltd is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, duties, etc.).

5. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

Once your order has been handed over to our courier partner, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). The tracking information is usually active and viewable within 24 hours of dispatch. You can monitor the progress of your delivery directly through the link provided in the email.

6. Delivery Addresses and P.O. Boxes

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct and complete shipping address is provided at checkout.

  • We cannot change the shipping address once an item has been dispatched.
  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses due to courier restrictions on kitchenware products.

7. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Addresses

If a package is returned to us by the carrier because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, or because the customer failed to collect the package after multiple delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the order.

If you request a cancellation after a failed delivery due to your error, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

8. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Shipments

Cotswold Kitchen Supplies Ltd takes great care in packaging our products securely. However, if your order arrives damaged or goes missing during transit, please follow these steps:

  • Damaged Items: If your items arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at mistyhill@cotswoldkitchensupplies.com. You must provide your order number and photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and product. Please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods before a claim is processed.
  • Lost Shipments: If your delivery date has passed and tracking information shows no updates, please wait an additional 48 hours as carriers sometimes scan packages early. If the package still has not arrived, contact us immediately so we can launch an investigation with the courier.
